1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using OpenDrift (“the Service”), operated by the OpenDrift team (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
OpenDrift is a web application that uses Verbalized Sampling to generate multiple ranked responses from large language models via OpenRouter. The Service allows users to explore the full probability distribution of AI-generated responses.
3. Accounts
You must sign in with a GitHub or Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
4. Billing and Credits
Some models require a positive credit balance. Credits are purchased in advance and deducted per run based on the model's cost on OpenRouter plus a 7% platform fee. Credits do not expire. All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, abusive, or violates third-party rights
- Resell access to the Service without written permission
- Abuse API keys or circumvent rate limits
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the prompts you submit and the responses you receive. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. The OpenDrift name, logo, and source code are the property of their respective owners.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on OpenRouter and third-party model providers to generate responses. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of responses produced by third-party models. Your use of these models is also subject to their respective terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
